A time for prayer.

I'm a child in an intense training session. God's showing me my inner strength (or lack thereof) as I see my limits in the fruits of the Spirit: Love, joy, peace, patience....

Then I read Luke 18. We're to always be praying! George Muller would say, "I walk in a spirit of prayer, and see the answers coming all the time". I don't know why I didn't get this "memo" a long time ago, but it's liberating to live in a spirit of prayer.

There's a lot to christian living to remember: Be patient, pray for those that mistreat you, love your enemy etc... However, if we could just remember one thing. Pray all the time... I believe the christian character would more naturally flow.

I thought of Ecclesiastes and how there's different times for certain things:

A time to give birth and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.
A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to be silent and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace.

Then I thought of Christ in Luke 18 and I thought we could ad to this Ecclesiastical poem, "A time for prayer and a time for prayer"

It's always time for prayer!
